An exciting new addition to this years workshop will be a pre-workshop trip to the Georgia Aquarium. The Georgia Aquarium is the world's largest aquarium with over 800 gallons of fresh and marine water. Some of the highlights include whale sharks, beluga whales, penguins, jellies and much, much more. You can even touch bonnethead sharks, cownose rays, anemones, and sea starts. Our aquarium trip will also include some behind the scenes tours that will highlight the aquariums training and enrichment programs!
This trip will take place on Sunday, August 30, 2009 from 1 to 5 pm*. The cost of the trip will be an additional $15, please see the workshop registration for more information.

*Please note if you are attending the Orangutan SSP meetings you will be unable to attend the pre-workshop trip. If you are still interested in visiting the aquarium please contact Tom Heitz.
